At the South end of Arran, Kilmory is less than half a mile away from the picturesque hamlet of Lagg. The village of Whiting Bay is a 15 minute drive away. One of the best sandy beaches on the island is 10 minutes walk from Ivybank, down a track that starts from just opposite the property.

Directions : Ivybank is 17 miles from the ferry terminal via the coast road. From Brodick Pier turn left and follow the A 841 through Lamlash and Whiting Bay. Once through Whiting Bay continue for a further 9 miles.Upon entering Kilmory, you will see the Torrylin Creamery on your left, and Ivybank on your right.

In fine weather, a shorter route can be taken - once through Lamlash, turn right onto the Ross. Follow this road for 8 miles. At the T-junction, turn left. You will pass through Lagg, with the Lagg hotel on your left. Ivybank is 800 yards further on, on the left hand side.
